An extra kid !

We`really enjoyed having Graeme Taylor and Bruce Robinson stay with us recently. Graeme won the kids over with ability to join in ( or instigate ! ) their kind of fun !

summer was fun !

We had great summer, it's just starting to get a little cooler now. We manged to do a fair bit of ski-ing and hanging out by the lake.

Neah (believe it or not) somehow caught this fish, with her bare hands .. ?? She's gaining a reputation for being a bit of a 'Bindi Irwin'. :)

The kids bedrooms are done !

Amazing really ! (Karlynda I know you thought it would never be done ! ) but they were done just after Xmas , is it really 1st March allready? yikes that means my little Neah-noo is 7, SEVEN !!!! ... very soon ... she's not about to let me forget anyways .. 25 more sleeps and counting down ..

This is Marila's room. Her feauture wall is 'Majestic Purple', if you think to ask her what colour it is, it's very cute to her her say it!

Olympia's room. The photo's are not very bright ... oops. Her feature wall is bright pink. She is sooo pleased to have her own room finally. This room was a kitchen. Our home was a 'bed & beakfast' property when we bought it. The children's side of the house was one of the 'self contained' unit's. We are still yet to lay carpet, but it's good for now.

Neah's room! A haven for all her animals.. (no not real ones , thank goodness, tho I can't begin to tell you how much she wishes they were! ) By the way, she blitzed her school swimming carnival yesterday ! we seem to have quite an athlete on our hands!

busy summer !

It's been a busy summer so far, and the momentem is picking up for the super busy bit that's coming up very rapidly ....

Alice (mum), Trevor (Dad) Henwood, Roger & Nerida holding Weston & Comfort, Brad & I, Philip & Michelle. Front : Olly, Rilla, Neah, Stan (Grandad) and Eileen (Grandma) Henwood.
This was the 'xmas ' get together dinner with my side of the family about a week before xmas day, at Wagga.

Was the first time I got to meet my only little neice, Comfort. Roger & Nerida's little girl. She loves to suck her thumb! - usually her 1st finger is hooked over her wee nose :)

We spent xmas day with Brad's family. (No pics - oops)

We have done lots of swimming (I take the kids down pretty much every night on my recently aquired Polaris Ranger - just love it ! ) and water skiing in the lake. Neah is just begining to learn to ski.

We had a lovely New Years BBQ with John & Julia Miles (& a ton of all the other folk from round about !) our good friends in Wodonga.

Olly has learnt a new trick !

And - Hooray ... we finally got Olympia's own bedroom finished and a feature wall done in all 3. Will take some photo's v.soon and post them up.

And - it is only 3 more sleeps to Anna's (Brad's little sister) & Arum (Saunders) wedding !!

And then .. -it will be only 7 more sleeps to Great Nanna's (Brad's Grandma) 90th birthday do in Canberra !!

And then ... it's only 7 more sleeps until school starts back .... ! ????
