April was,

April was:

Eunice's 6oth birthday, celebrated with a 3 course meal cooked in my home by a chef and served by a waiter. was excellent and recommendable. So much more relaxing and private than out at a restaurant. Perfect for the best Grandma in town !

April was school holidays, 2 glorious weeks of it ! April was also Bailey's birthday 2!
and, sleepover at Grandma's for the 3 kids!
and, sprain my ankle month - still a bit ouchy - really shouldn't have walked
around on it that first day ....
and, light the fires time (gather sticks in the cold - clean out dusty wood heaters etc . )
and, send of applications month (will tell more about that later if all succesful ! )

Rilla loves to play weddings, couldn't resist digi scrapping this one. The tattoo ( 'skin print' for a better word! ) is the icing on the cake !

Easter Holiday !

Just home from our wonderful holiday ! Spent wonderful days at Salamander Bay (Port Stephens), The Entrance, and in Sydney, lunched with Annita & Richard & Gatto in their cosy high rise and stayed (& feasted ! ) with Aunty Joy, Uncle Ross, Adam, Cameron and Nanna. Spent $$$$$ at the Sydney Easter Show, and a lovely day at the Taronga Zoo.

The kids enjoyed 'our own' pool at the resort in Salamander Bay ! (actually so did we ! )

We enjoyed a dinner of fish and chips on Sydneys northern beaches with Iris and Karyn Hazelwood. This is the kids biulding sandcastles with Karyn.
